Dark World

This map shows the homebrewed Castles & Crusades setting that I call Dark World. (The world is known as Maran.) The map was created using Campaign Cartographer 2. (I believe the original map was a Fractal Terrains map I exported for use with CC2, but if so, I no longer have the original FT file.)

Dark World exists in the same cosmology as my hombrewed D&D v.3.5 setting, World of Kulan. That cosmology is referred to as the Mirrored Cosmology. It began its existence as a D&D v.3.5 world, as well, and I toyed with the idea of designing it as a systemless world, which I was never happy with. Castles and Crusades is the best option for it.
